Candlelight Restorative + Yoga Nidra 

Friday, March 22, 2024 @ 7:00 - 8:15 pm

at Wild Flower Yoga & Pilates

Join me for an evening of rest and relaxation. This evening candlelight class will help you to relax, restore, and rejuvenate the body, mind, and spirit through longer held asanas designed to open the body through passive stretching. The body is supported with blocks, bolsters, and blankets to allow deep relaxation and tension release. The class will end with Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation that leads you to a state in between wakefulness and sleep. This “yogic sleep” takes you into a deep relaxation that reduces brain activity, and allows the body to slip into a healing state. You will leave this class feeling refreshed, restored, and ready to take on the holiday season!  This class is suitable for all levels. Please wear comfortable clothing and dress in layers.

Qi-Yoga Workshop

at Wild Flower Yoga & Pilates

This fun, creative style of movement blends yoga and Qigong (pronounced chee kung), the skillful practice of moving energy through the body for health and well-being. We will combine traditional yoga poses with the five elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine to move energy (Qi) along the meridians of the body and use acupressure points for self-healing. You will leave feeling energized and refreshed. This class is flowing, playful, and suitable for all levels.

This class is perfect for anyone new to yoga or looking to dive a little deeper into poses. We will learn the proper alignment of poses and discover creative modifications that will allow the body to go deeper by using a variety of props, including blocks, bolsters, the wall, and chairs. This class is perfect for beginners as well as advanced yogis looking to improve their asana alignment.
